Hi, Ladies:

I usually don't contribute much to the Lady Teardroppers section; but, I thought you'd enjoy seeing this one...

I wondered why my window thermometer kept falling off and, today, I found out....Mom, Pop, and Baby garden frogs are using it for their bedroom!

do the frogs get noisy at night? That is interesting. Is it getting cold and they get warm on the window?

Awww that's so cute! They think they're hiding!

The whole front of our house gets covered with neon green tree frogs every night. They come to eat the insects that are attracted to the light through the windows and are always hoping someone will leave the porch light on.

Surprisingly, they are louder than a bullfrog! (Their croaks are higher pitched, though.) When they come out appears to depend on the temperatures. They don't seem to like weather that is very hot or cold. In the summer, they come out at dawn and dusk. I think they must sleep most the winter. In the spring they hide under a rock and croak all day (or until they find a mate) and the croaking is longer and more musical.
