Girls at the beach

My 16 yr. old daughter and I are going on a girls teardrop campin' weekend at the beach. It will be nice to have a whole weekend just the two of us.

OMG! I shared a VW camper with my sister once. There was not enough room for two women, and it's got three times the interior space as a teardrop.

We had a great time! Chincoteage Island, Virginia and Assateaque National Seashore, Virgina was the destination.

Rebapuck I get along great with my daughter. No issues with sharing the teardrop sleeping quarters, lol.

It wasn't hot but the mosquites were out in force.

Great pictures Doris. It is so great when we can connect with the kids outside. My granddaughters love to camp and I take them at least once a year.

It wasn't the sharing of sleeping space. It was all the gyrations females go through to get dressed, brush hair, makeup face......

There were elbows everywhere!!

Oh Judy, we don't do make-up and girly primping when we are camping. We are lucky ifwe shower because there is not time for that...hiking, swimming and reading are just so much more fun than showering and primping, lol. We laughed because the bathroom at the campground was full of women blowdrying their hair and putting on make-up. It's summertime, let the sun dry your hair and put the make-up (tan) on your face for you!

Well, I am used to having the entire VW to myself. And my sister was use to a 37ft RV.
