Camping with my sister's family

Postby b.bodemer » Thu Aug 26, 2010 10:22 am

Met my sister's family again this year in Lancaster PA.

My youngest neice(22 months) stayed with my sister and brother-in-law at a restort down the street. The other three stayed each night with Aunt Barb at the campground next to the amusement park. We had a ball and the kids were such great listeners.........................They earned their invitation to camp again with Aunt Barb anytime!

They got a kick out of coming to the camp site and finding a custom sticker for Aunt Barb, Aunt Rose and Paddy. Just below that each of them discovered their own sticker!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Aunt Rose called to check in on use she told my sister that I had "bumped" Paddy and her out of the camper to make room for all the kids to stay with me. I must say Aunt Rose was a good sport to stay home with Paddy..................

Barb isn't it wonderful to camp with kids? I love seeing their faces light up when they see something new. I love the pic you have of the kids outside the camper. They all have smiles and are enjoying the day! Thanks for sharing.

Every child should have an Aunt Barb!

I wish I'd had a camping aunt....

:applause:  I second the idea that all kids need an Aunt Barb. They will remember you always...
