i have really considered building one of jay's homes, however the land costs up here in BC are horrible. 
i can see it now... spend 10k on a house, and 100k on a tiny building lot.
and i think all the lots ive seen won't allow trailers.
unfortunately, i don't know anyone 'generous' enough to rent me a small space in their back yards to park one.
for this, i am at a standstill on this project.
all in all, a great idea tho.
