I need an artist that I am not! Maybe an endorsement and a big $ would be nice too.

BobHenry:

I think you should send your card to that place where Starleen2 sent for his ladybug winter warrior decals. Have your printed card design blown up into a decal and advertise for yourself, not for somebody else. (Someplace like Kinkos might do that for you, too.) The design on the card looks good and would look just like a barn advertisement should! You could even take pictures of barns and tool sheds that you've built and have them made into decals. You could put the card-style decal on the driver side and the picture decals down the back doors. (...Or something like that....)

Where I live, there is a truck that drives around all day, just being paid to advertise for other people. (That guy projects his advertisements onto a special material on the sides.) Pay yourself by advertising your skills.

well kids the latest update!

Over the weekend insulated all the wall cavities with 2 layers of 3/4 " blue foam. Looked and looked for paneling ideas at Menards and finally purchased 1/4" luan I like the warm look of the wood and with a little poly over top should be easily cleanable. All the side walls are now lined with the luan. Galley area is paneled also. The ceiling will not be done by the Chain O lakes gathering but Oh well I'm on teardrop time. The best part was last night. Remember the free foam I found on freecycle .....

well I parlayed that with a $5.00 yard sale metal futon frame and some wood and osb scrap from work and I now have a full size bed that converts to a very comfey 6' couch.

You'll love that should you wind up sitting inside in the rain.

Not this weekend but someday if.

Yep and here is my comfey couch .........

Image

Vic has twin sheets for each of the cushions. It is 2 narrow twin metal futon frames setting on several of these supports...

Image

Finally got a decent shot of the front cabinets with my new luan paneling partially installed

Image

And the mini galley has been paneled and my 12 volt light really works :applause:

Image

I threw the ceiling paneling and the center support in the trailer before taking the pics. That support you see in the first two pictures that is setting out in the floor actually stores under the couch during the day and is used as a center support for the bed at night.

Well the converta-couch was test sat by about 60 visitors at the tri state gathering and was ruled "Comfey" . Ol what's her name and I slept well and it was nice having the underbed storage for the cast iron. I have some pics and will get them in my album A.S.A.P. The little galley worked well and the cabinet door flop down counter was ok but needs to be a more positive way to position it. It wanted to swing a bit despite being bungied to the frame. having the dutch oven table made cooking 2 giant loves of hot bread

Image

and the monster meatloaf

Image a breeze !

I love my dutch oven table ! ( thanks Scuba)

The little barn tows well and got some strange looks on the highway but the campers gave it an almost unanimous thumbs up.

Hi, Bob Henry:

I like your condiment/spice/table/cupboard. I love the last picture, where you're driving away because it says 'Bye!' or 'The End' plus it gives perspective on the size of your trailer. :applause:

The barn got a new security light this week.

Image

This little LED light was a treasure found at where else ,
Goodwill for $1.99

I thought it looked a lot like the big yard security lights so what better for the Barns porch light. Gives a nice soft blue light that is not harsh and glaring. It is powered by 4 AA batteries.

Things like this just find me ! :D
