Roof is on and just in time it's raining. So I spent the better part of my time inside setting on a camp stool installing the 120 volt ac. 12 duplex outlets scattered here and there and a single 120 volt light switched at the wall. All other lighting will be dc. Oh well got tomorrow and next weekend the parade.

The drop down counter is starting to take shape. I really like my push to adjust the height drop down support leg :D

All day Friday Saturday and Sunday almost 30 hours and all I got done was the other half of the roof all the ac wiring and about 70% of the dc and about 1/2 of the trim. Built the spice cabinet and installed the drop down door and re manufactured that adjustable prop leg :D God this build has all but ground to a hault all that work and I can see very little change.

Tuesday night update .... roof is screwed down and tail lights are on

Had a major engineering rebuild on the tongue. It had bent as some of you said it would and I jacked it back into position but it needed more so we trussed it by using 1 1/2 flat stock and a 4" piece of 1 1/2 square tube. Placed the tube at the front rail of the trailer frame under the tongue and the flat strap was welded to this tube and 3 feet forward and another 3 feet to the rear. A saddle was placed over the square tube and welded to each piece of flat stock to connect them and relieve some of the strain on the tube weld. Then we tensioned the strap by mashing with a monster "c" clamp and welded the edges at both ends. This effectively makes a truss out of my extra long tongue As the tongue load increases the front strap tensions and actually lifts the leading edge of the frame while the rear also tensions to assist the front strap. I know clear as mud but it worked and you can play a tune on the straps.
I'll try and get some pics because this was a very good repair method.

Got 2 more evenings before the big parade and 1 st outing in "Barn to be wild" A little clean out of tools and some door reinforcement and a bit of trim and we are off . Been just under 5 weeks !

Wed Update.............

Rebuilt the doors but was interupted by rain. They are now , stout enough for the parade.

If I can get the rear trim put on tonight we are parade ready if I don't I will put an "under construction" sign on it and go anyway.

You are all just being kind arn't you.

You don't have the heart to make fun of a redneck fool that would be CRAZY enough to build a damn barn on wheels.

But I am havin' fun anyway !

Trust me that's not it. Every one is speachless at the thought of a traveling Mini Barn

Eric say's he can't wait to see it, I pretty curious myself. It will fit in nicely in a 4H Fair parade
