The plans are 22 pages with written information, photos, and illustrations.

All of this for just $175.

The detail that bugs me about that design is the use of the last two feet of trailer frame to make a 'porch', largely for appearance - it looks to be too small to use and I bet the user would love to have that two foot on the inside 99% of the time. Of course it helps keep a high tongue weight too, so it has its (small) benefits, but it would be so easy to make a porch platform that is hinged up for towing - would hide the licence plate and taillights when camped too.

I find it to be charming; but, I agree with Andrew about hinging that back porch. It just makes sense to do that. It might also be safer and easier to see when to stop when backing up.

Steve's is beautifully done

Postby Guy » Tue Dec 21, 2010 1:59 pm

As someone who has sat in Steve's gypsy wagon I can attest to its beauty, simplicity, and practicality. Too bad it will now be sold as Kim and Steve make the journey to Albuquerque and a soon the be started new southwestern teardrop. SEE YOU SOON, Steve!
