Here's the version if you also have women using the water closet ;)

murphy bed over couch. gives a real bed to sleep on , better then fouton or hide-a-bed.
Could build your own

Also consider usage of area. You can only be in one place at a time.
Bathrooms are a real waster of space.
How about a toilet in the bottom of a cabinet on slides, sink above that. Storage drawers/doors/shelves where they fit.
Open up main cabinet door, pull out toilet to use it, slide it in with foot, wash hands in sink, then close the door.

Shower would be a removable panel in the floor. Pull curtain around to use shower.
Could build into a corner so 2 sides are existing walls, 2 sides curtain.
Put panel back in floor and cover with a rug when done.
Winnebego RV used this idea.

I wonder where they hang their clothes and stash their undies. It must be a vacation cabin, just a little bigger than a tear.

Were in an IKEA store over the weekend with the daughter. They had 4 or 5 displays set up that were whole apartement in limited square footage. IIRC, they were in the 200 or less square feet range. If you get a chance to drop by one of the stores, its worth a look.

Keith- Which Ikea did you go to? Also, did you see the magnetic spice containers while you were there?

I love Ikea's small space floor plans! Those are AWESOME spaces to look at!!! We thought about building the space in a shed in our back yard for our daughter, but we couldn't figure out a way to get it hooked to the septic tank without a pump system.

I am thinking about taking this idea and running with it. I would like to incorporate it in the tiny house caboose by fitting it in the stud wall cavities. I used 2x6 wall studs in the build so I could insulate with 2-3 inches of blue foam and still have recessed storage in the wall. This might be a good way to utilize some of that space.

This is such a good idea and it doesn't have to be just soup but cleaning supplies as well

I don't know if I saw it somewhere or if it was just a nap time dream but this little angle cut counter came to me from somewhere.
