I like it, but I think a tandem bike would be better. More leg power. :D

Yes, I think I would add an optional battery operated motor. I've seen kits that you can add to tricycles like that one.

Neat, as long as it stays on level ground - it's seriously overbuilt, so I hate to think what effort would be needed to go up any slope.

I find a lot of these bike type things are great in theory. I have a low speed electric scooter. In order for it to legally be considered a bicycle and except from licencing and insurance, it needs to have pedals. At 250lbs, the bike is impossible to pedal much more than 10-20 feet without it just wearing me out. I wonder how possible it is pedal one of these campers.

More practical than a complete camper would possibly be a little bike camper with a tent and seriously light gear and be in amazing shape.
