Side by side burn

Postby rainjer » Thu Jan 22, 2009 10:11 pm

I did a side by side burn of my 502 stove & 500A stove tonight.

Image

The 500A (left stove) puts out a lot more heat than the 502 stove. I am very impressed. Both put out a good amount of heat. I don't think I will have any problem making waffles on either one.

The strange thing is I put t he same fuel in both stoves & the flames are very different colors.

Both burners are made up of steel rings. Maybe more air?

the one on the left looks like its burning more fuel, I bet if you filled them up equally and ran them wide open till empty the one on the left would run out first! Maybe there is a different sized valve between the two??

They look great. :applause: :applause: The 500A looks as if it is larger and a larger tank than the 502. I bet it will be sturdy for the waffle iron.
