Lots of other information regarding tear-down, rebuild, collecting ETAL. This is the place to get an education.

Hi Doug,
I just found a KampLite lantern at an estate sale but do non find much info on them. I can not find any numbers on it. Any idea where I could find the model number on it?

Dates are just where you said! I found one in the Garage that says 6 55 and 5 02 the last one surprised me don't remember picking one up that recent... but it looks rather new... so must be true!
thanks for the info!

WOW had no idea this was here. Got bored and started looking around the site.

My dad collected railroad lanterns and one of the other lanterns he had turns out to be a depression era Coleman Quicklite L327 Its been hanging in my shop untouched since 2002 when dad passed. One of these days I might have to look into replacement mica panels and see it can be lit! Be cool to have it in the house as our emergency lantern.

Thats a bummer. I have lost friends that reached way back in a number of my hobbies they are always missed and rarely replaced. One of my past hobbies is Control Line model Airplanes. I had a friend for years who could tell me what it was like at the AMA Nationals the year I was BORN. He had been going there for almost a decade already by that time (1957) then one day he died and all those stories and experiance just ended. :(
