Awsome tent

I love old canvas tents myself. Last summer I purchased a polish tent like yours, from the local Value Village thrift store.

Due to it being late in the season I only managed to set it up once in the yard. It looked fine.

I will post some pics this summer.

I have a question. It was a bear to set up with the internal frame. Is there a special way to set it up that makes it easier?

Any more pics of your tent in action?

Loved my older canvas tents..

Unfortunately unless you build a permanent/ semi-permanent frame its a labor intensive job.

Had a 12'x18' bunkhouse that took a couple of hours for setup/breakdown but housed everyone in nostalgia.

Still have a few BSA tents but the motivation to set them up has diminished over the years. Seems the Coleman 2 room and the easy up screenhouse gets the job nowadays.

I helped put up enough Army tents to know I don't want to do it again.
