Coleman Cooler decal..1981?

Postby DragonFire » Sun Feb 12, 2012 12:16 pm

I have a brown steel clad Coleman cooler I picked up and it's missing the decal. It looks like the same size as the one for the 200a...2" x just about 1". I have seen the style of decal on Ebay, but does anyone know if the decal for the 200a is the correct one to go on the cooler? I don't want to get the wrong one!

Thanks...

I asked Mike at Old Coleman Parts and he didn't know for sure...he's not into coolers (and mine is a 1981...so it's really not all that old..)

I just worked on my steel cooler. I did not measure it but it looks to me like a lantern sticker.

So what would be the correct beer in a correct Coleman cooler?
NOT Moose Drool... It's too trendy!

I love it when you are driving though small town America and every old general store has a big sign "COLD COLD BEER" OR " COLDEST BEER IN TOWN".

I almost had an Arrogant Bastard last night...but it was too trendy (hanging out with the Royal Bastards Scooter Club..we had plenty of arrogant Bastards in the room!)

Life and Limb. Awesome stuff. Sierra Nevada brews it once a year.

How about home brew? That could happen...in a campground out west....where the Grasshoppers are.....

That should be the official beer of the Coleman Keepers!!

Looks like I'm headed to BevMo after the RV show tomorrow...I'll Google it and see where I can get it...hopefully BevMo...

I don't care for IPAs, but they do get the job done (did I just say that?? 8) )

And, of course they are good when it's hot.

It beats trying to like wine because there is the "Happy Camper" label.....

I like your cooler..that is really awesome. I like vintage stuff..just because I have 70's-80's doesn't mean I am not into the older stuff...I'm just trying to go for a semi-authentic setup. That is a really great cooler..and the trailer it's in looks great too!

I guess they don't distribute to CA. Bummer. So....are you headed to the Dam Gathering by any chance?? Or IRG???

So, back to square one for appropriate beers to be kept cool in a Coleman Keeper's Coleman cooler in Cali.

I may have to step up my game in the home brew dept!
