Thanks slow. Since about Jan 7th dad been in one hospital, care facility, nursing home after another. Only got home for less that 2 weeks. Had lots of time to get the grieving mostly done. Now I need to get back to work.

Thanks again all of you folks. I have been burning a mil spec each night. Right now I have my real fine condition 1958 burning. It is nice and bright.

Randy,
I am truly sorry to hear that your dad has passed on. He will rest peacefully now and his great contribution to our liberty will not be forgotten.

Please know that we are your friends and we are here for you. I will most certainly burn a very special lantern thinking of your dad and you.

Peace.

Randy, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my Dad to the same terrible disease yesterday morning. It was a long hard road for Dad also. May they watch over us without all the pain and suffering.

Thanks all. I still light a Mil Spec each night. Don't know how long I will keep that up. Debbie/Randy am looking forward to using the emergency kit.

Mark, sorry for your loss. I do know a bit about what you went through. Worse than the cancer I have seen to many people succumb to. I will light a lantern for your dad tonight also.

Randy, this is my first post (of I hope many) to the forum, but I've lurked here for a while and read about your father's illness.

I'm writing this from Pawtuckaway State Park, Nottingham NH with my first trip in my new teardrop. Camped 1/2 hour from my father's house to spend Father's Day weekend with him.

He's here now visiting me, and I rememebered that you won't have yours tomorrow.

Toast night and tonight I'll have my non-vintage Coleman lit up in your father's memory.
