 I like to foil my stoves also. Clean up is so much easier if something boils over or spills inside.

I listen to ktry (Sanoma county) on my iPhone on the way to work. I hear about blue sky and record warm temps while I drive in the rain, cold on Scottish winters day.
Glad to see you are enjoying it.

It's not all that it's cracked up to be....45 days now without rain, talk about walnut and almond crops losing trees, water restrictions.

Yup, and we are right behind you here in CT. Plow just went by again. 5 to 10 inches forecast.

Glad I thought to put a tarp over the wood pile this AM.

I am a JD man myself. But right now the only tractors I have is a 1940 International M and a late 60s-70 1080 Massy. Go figure.

I have a 242C that I bought at the estate sale of one of the brothers that owned the local IH dealership for many years. My dad was an IH man and we had several 560 tractors among other current IH stuff back in the late 50s, early 60s. Until this guy and one of the other brothers ( there was at least 3 ) screwed my dad in a deal. The brother that was not in on the deal left the business over it and my dad never bought another new IH and started buying John Deere. Dad often said he never got the chance to thank them for pushing him to John Deere.

My moms dad only had IH/Farmall on the farm that I remember as a kid.
I think the only JD grandpa had was a manure spreader.
My dads dad had JD.
