Guess apart it comes again .

A bubble mix is what you should get. That is Colemans instant light system. You only get solid fuel stream when the valve is all the way open. Sometimes the inlet hole in the pickup tube is compromised on lanterns that have not been run in a while. Preheating will prevent a flameout if it suddenly decides to work when the valve is fully open. Put it back together and this time preheat the generator with a small torch until red hot or close to it. If you have bubbles and a new gen. you should have flames.

Well tore it all down again !

It will not light. Cannot get it to light. Don't think I 'm getting fuel or enough fuel . I don't see any just hear the bubbling.

Frustration is setting in. Thinking I m in over my head. UGGGHHHH ! ! !

Sounds like it is in the fuel/air pickup tube.

I just did a lantern with a similar problem. When I took out the pickup tube it was crusted with green varnish. I soaked it in MEK for an hour and wire brushed it clean and blew compressed air through it up and down. Then more MEK , repeat. It worked for me.

I have had more stinkin' problems with fuel & air tubes than anything else. One lantern I had to tear down three times before I figured out the little air hole was varnished up. :x  Usually when someone tells me "I replaced the genny with a new one, but it still won't light" I always suspect that stupid F & A tube.

I had one that I had to go back and stretch the F/A rod spring before it would work.
Now I need to go back and re-clock two of my first rebuilds.
Was kicking back reading a book and looked at the shelf and realized they were clocked wrong.
220E and a 228E, and both my birthday lanterns.
