I'm guessin that a 46 teardrop trailer IS considered "Vintage" campin eqpt...Made from surpluss aircraft aluminum and blind rivets. There was never an interior ( coverin) so I skinned it with red oak panellin wit 3/4 inch styrofoam insulation sandwiched between the aluminum and the interior. It's MUCH cooler now and will be MUCH warmer this winter.
As I was riflin thru my vintage magazines, I found a 1946 Skiin magazine with an aluminum teardrop on the cover. Looks very similar to mine. There are a couple a gals in front a the trailer with 2 pair a wooden skis and sum leather ski boots...
As luck would have it, I jus so happen to have 2 pair a wooden skis AND a pair a leather ski boots ! You KNOW that Imma replicate that cover at the next car show in October !
