Postby Colemancooler » Sun Oct 12, 2014 1:16 pm

my mother in law has a kamp kook gasoline cook stove in nearly new condition, with original paperwork and promotional info, it had rounded external corners and pressed ribs in the case, she also has a thermos metal cooler with two latches, that was used to store check duplicated for 40 years, does anyone have an idea what these are worth??

Both pop up on eBay. $50-60 for the cooler and less for the stove.

I have a stove like that one. It is a good burner once you get it all warmed up. The generator is big for using car gas. ( which I have not yet tried ) AGM stoves are usually pretty good once you figure out their particularities. Only thing about all the AGMs I have is they never did figure out a way of holding the wind wings very well. I like that style of case. Kind of classy.

The stove is not all that rare though the paper work is not common. I would use the stove. Or at least not fear burning it every now and then. Will last a good many more years.
