Flame by the end of the generator on 425 stove.

So new Coleman did a clean up job on this,425 stove and a re paint fired it up to test and it keeps getting a small flame out the end of the generator pipe were it plugs into the burners....whats up?????.....not overly dangurous but could be as its not flame were its supposed to be down on the burners..i tired bending my fuel tank tabs to get the end of the generator tip to seal up against the burners box...thoughts?????...slow
Plans. there was supposed to be plans to be followed when I built this thing. Opps! AH, gee, tum,tee tum. I think I forgot about the plans 2 years ago. ------Tow vehicles, 1995 ford explore, 1994 ford ranger, 1993 ford F-150, 2009 4x9 Off road teardrop, on harbor freight greatly modified frame.

* My dual-fuel two burner has started to do the same. I think that there's soot in the burner itself, or something causing back-pressure that forces the flame to back up. I've never cleaned it, though, but before next camp-out, I''l use some brake or carburetor cleaner spray on mine, and see if it clears up.
