AI-designed tears

Design & Construction of anything that's not a teardrop e.g. Grasshoppers or Sunspots

AI-designed tears

Postby Dan [Sac] » Wed May 01, 2024 10:25 pm

Like Mr. Smith said in the Matrix..."it was inevitable"

AI-designed teardrops with minimum effort on my part in prompting. As such, there are some...um...artistic and physics-based liberties the computer employed in the creation of these things. So take that under consideration.
Still, most would be buildable with sufficient money or time.

The point, I guess, is that there's no limit to what we can make. Not taking sides on whether that's good or bad - what I do know is that it's good to dream.

Enjoy!

Take off the extra wheels and a couple of those might be worth building
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

There were a few that were viable candidates for a molded kind of construction. What I find interesting is the random facets and seams on many designs.

Heck with the modern designs! It would be enough for somebody to start molding them out of HDPE, just like large agricultural tanks.

I guess AI hasn't figured out what a teardrop is. It's something beyond shape. Someone once put this in a book about building 'em:

By definition, a teardrop is a compact, streamlined camper consisting of an interior cabin with an external galley in the rear. You can comfortably sit in the cabin, but you can’t stand.
