Interesting raising roof design. Reminds me of one of our members build (same design and materials). 319 lbs for the second prototype. Seems to be quality construction. I am skeptical of the claim of no cross wind issue with the long sides. The Europeans seem to design with a lot of rear overhang and low tongue weight (9 lbs). I bet their towing speeds are fairly low. I look forward to the third prototype which they are trying for less than 220 lbs.

Curiosity got the best of me when I seen this HUGE red trailer behind a Wing.
Its size impressed me, & also wondered about winds, saw none in the video.
There MUST BE some sway due to being higher & the overhang past the axle.
Any differences?
His trailers utilities mass weight is spread out where mine is all in the middle.
All the heavy fluid weights (cloths, utensils, etc.) will be closely centered also.
I prefer the larger 12" tires, Euro's seem to prefer the 8". We know the reasons.

So I opened up one of my photos and compared. (resized to match, see below)
Both trailers are similar in length and width but not in height.
I wanted mine to fit in a single car parking space. "Missed it by '__' much. (6")
I'm guessing the red trailers dry weight is about 319 + 231 = 550 LBS.
And if it has brakes, add 50 LBS., total about 600 LBS.
Mine was 1/2 loaded for 10 day trip. With brakes & weighs in about 600 LBS.

Once its moving, I just don't feel it. Starting off is mildly-slow but stopping is VERY QUICK! (trailer brakes)
When one trailer tire hits a rut, I do feel it in the handlebars, shakes a little, nothing scary.
My tongue weight is around 40 LBS, but that's mostly pooch. I do feel him moving around more than the near zero sway.
I had winds from all directions, no gusts. Also had a gusty, wet storm on the way back. Again, trailer was steady.
No shakes or sway at all, even at 85 MPH! (SHORT test) I attribute it to the (sorta) arrow shaped box and pet carrier.
My vacation mpg. was 36 at 65 mph..

I pulled this trailer (with pooch) to Montrose, Co. last fall (2009)
from northern ILL. Total trip miles, with trailer, 4200.
I'd do it again in a 1/2 a heartbeat.
LOVED IT! WHOOOAH YAAAH!
