My Giant Teardrop build

Design & Construction of anything that's not a teardrop e.g. Grasshoppers or Sunspots

Postby Ivar the Red » Tue May 06, 2008 8:59 pm

Ok, progress for tonight...not much. I got the template cut out and approved by quality control, the wifey. I'd have a pic to post, but when your shop is the great outdoors...when the sun goes down the tops are popped. And besides, there's not much light. Anyways, it's time to shower and get ready to hit it again tomorrow.

Yeah, I wonder, do they make those for the "plumber" torches?

Johnny, you should be able to get a rosebud....while I would prefer epoxy and a clearcoat, I have had very good results with MinWax ClearShield, a heavy bodied, outdoor rated polyurethane........

Wow that will be one hella tear.

The first TTLimo I've heard of.
That would be a great personalized plate for it.

What are you going to pull it with?

Don't forget the sunroofs

If you don't go with a hot tub you will at least have a place to put the quads or motorcycles.

Cool the," titanic of tears", this is going to be great. I used pine bead board for my sides, and coated it with spar. Everyone said this will work, might have to re-coat every few years. Keep up the posts, I have to see this one 8)

Geron

Did I get the year right? It's kinda chopped up.

Sorry, No HiJack. Now back to the thread.
