Tiny Travel Trailer Trains?

Postby Lefty Lucy » Tue Jun 01, 2004 6:44 pm

I forget who, but they asked about towing with a fifth wheel. I was just thinking that you would then be able to tow a second trailer behind that one. So, who's gonna be the first one here to pull a train?

Not sure what the law is everywhere, but I know in Minnesota, you can have a rig up to 60 ft. in length. My dad was going to tow is 5th wheel and fishing boat, but that came out to 62Ft, so he couldn't do it. As long as you have a 5th wheel, you can tow one more item, not to exceed 60 feet total from nose of truck to tail of last item hauled. Hope that helps!!

i think this would work for horse trailers more than anything :)
