My son in law fell in love with the weekender II, so off to the box store we went and came back with this.

Set a couple stands , routed the floor and ripped to size and then glued the seam .

Know exactly where that is - we used to live close to Corsicana

The mattress is a four inch piece of foam 60 inches wide and 72 inches long. I'll aslo extend an invitation up to Mt. Pleasant if you want a closer inspection of the camper

I just might take you up on that.
I widened the build 2 inches ,to 78 inches
Glen had a mattress that will fit those specs
What size wheels and tires do you have on your trailer?
I am going to build the frame so changing widths wasn't a problem
Thanks

If this comes together anything like your paddlers, you should have it knocked out in a couple of hours and looking premium. :) Looking fwd to watching the progress on this one.

I used 12 inch wheels - they came with the trailer. I was also restricted to 1500 lbs carrying weight due to the trailer ratings. The posted weight is with the trailer included

Just a pointer for ya'. leave the front end open until most of the interior is done. This will help in installing interior panels, ceiling panels and such. When it comes time to close the front, all of the remaining panels are small enough to be fitted in through the door. I put a small bow in the roof (about a 1 inch rise) to help shed water. However the end seams are flat. All of my "other flat roofers" tended to sag. This one has not and worked really well.
