Here is a pic with bolt tags at spots it will be bolted down.

Image
The bolts will be to the left of the tags,I also prestressed the frame an 1/8 inch from side to side to keep the center pulled up with out having bolts in the middle of the floor.
Where the nose hits the floor there is a 2by 4 across the box to help stiffen it ,same in the rear,(inside the box,
It pulled down well ,and also the 2 by 3 11 gauge tubing is extremley stiff

This has been a good and bad day ,it rained all day so I didnt get anything done to the tepee, but with the hard driving rain and blowing wind and the tepee sitting out in the weather she got a good leak test and passed with flying colors.

Well I took a few days off. I needed to add to my camping gear and a way to carry materials and my yak ,so here is what I have been doing.

Now I need to pad the top bars and load the yak.

You had me worried there for a minute. I didn't know how you were going to load a yak on that thing.

Ron, No problem, get well soon and then get to camping!

We have enjoyed many trips to Martin Dies Jr State Park (on 190 between Jasper and Woodville). A great park with lots of shade.

I broke the Tepee in this weekend.
I will fill in the gaps tomorrow .

I averaged 17 miles to the gallons with two kayaks on top of the high rack and pulling the trailer.
