I've been giving that one some thought since I plan on starting a Weekender soon. I was thinking about using 1x2 against the walls to form a place for the hatch to lay when closed. Then, I was going to place some weatherstripping on the 1x2s. The Hinge should seal itself if you use the hurricane hinge from Grant. I'd be interested in hearing others thoughts as well.
Started many, finished none... Bought a TTT <Sigh> ;)
