Two Odd Ducks...

Postby myoung » Sat Oct 02, 2010 12:13 am

Okay, one odd duck and one difficult-to-describe demicar trailer.

Got some old car lying around in your yard? Why not reuse it as a trailer?

Too wet in your neighborhood? How about a trailer that floats?

Weird, huh?

That duck already looks like it's listing to starboard.

camping in a Boxster

Or, instead of towing, just get a popup tent on your Porsche Boxster Spyder.

Our old TV...

There are lots of interesting things you can do with the right Porsche. Here's our old tow vehicle with our Airstream. The torque was amazing.

So, Mike, would you please tell us why you decided to build a tiny travel trailer?

Sure. I have discussed the rationale and inspiration in my first postings at

Hi Mike,

Great looking rig!!!

You ACTUALLY [!!!] towed the Airstream with a Porsche???

I would have thought that Porsche only considers the Cayenne
a tow vehicle. - Guess not.

Did you have to have a custom-made hitch made up for that model?
I would think the rear engine would complicate that a little.

And how many dropping jaws did you count while you were out
with the rig? I bet you could lip read various versions of
"Towing with a Porsche!" too. Ha.

Regards,

Norm/mezmo
