Explorer Box Tent Topped Camping Trailer Variation

Design & Construction of anything that's not a teardrop e.g. Grasshoppers or Sunspots

Thanks Deepmud ... from my perceptive, there is no right or wrong, it is what makes sense to each individual person based on there situation. That is why I design my trailers the way I do, individuals can build / tailor them to the way they want them.

Had a question about the bed in this one, it is 54" x 80" x 3", same size as a Full XL so I can use standard fitted sheets on it.

what are the base dimensions for this tent design and would it fit on the roof of a Chevy Tracker?

Droid, the base dimensions are; closed - 56" x 48", open 56" x 84". The design of the MOAB Tent Units is optimized for trailer top mounting. There would be a few details to work out for vehicle top usage, mainly supporting the footend portion of the platform.
