im was thanking about lexan windows that open up so you got a full screen
not half like the store windows

I am thinking about building my own windows as well, not sure of the design yet but definitley lexan.

I built my own windows in my weekender. Go to the member designs and look at the pic in "Mikes weedender" thread. I had some 1/2" lexan and it worked good so far. The lexan just sits in there and wedges hold it closed or put wedges outside and it holds it open. impossible for rain to come in while open. You can raise it up to get air to flow across from door to door. I plan to glue some screen across it to keep bugs out.Larryw

I bought 3 "escape windows" that are hinged at the top. These have several advantages. First, they can be opened over the entire window area. Second, they can be left open in the range because they tilt out. Third, they come tinted with full screens.
