If this could be found in military surplus it would probably be a great deal.

The design might have merit for a home build too.

From what I understand from the guy who posted the pic on the other forum it is a mobile phone booth setup from the military.

You would have to name the project ET........

....CALL HOME!!!

Is a neat little trailer though
Open hatch, floor drops down with legs to support, pull retainer pins and 3 walls drop down, walk around other side and repeat.
Would tripple in size in 5 minutes. Could make the 1 side wing standy sections....Mobile mansion

I like the overall thinking.

Although, unless those walls are fabric (canvas, vinyl, nylon, etc), I suspect it's going to take more than 5 minutes to set up.

For them to be hard walls that just drop down, they would weigh a ton.

I like where Chris is going with the idea of drop down walls I could see something like that for a longer stay type of trailer an over night trip not as much. But this forum sure has some interesting ideas

Here's a pic of a six booth version with the wings up.

It would be super simple to have an awning shop/tent maker put together add a rooms for either side. Attach the zipper to the inside of the awnings. Or...have them fold up into a bag for transport. Pop open the wings and pull the rip cord...the walls fall down...stake them out...move in!
