WOH! Looks like you'll have plenty of horse power to pull your camper.

Image. She's settin low due to a few ton of gravel

As far as the floor I'm planning on dropping down 6 inches and use plywood for my floor so I'll have 7 in of space between my floor and level with the 2x12s iv used. I'll post better pics tomorrow. She's gonna be heavy that's for sure hope I don't have to upgrade my axle. Trying to decide if I want to go with my pop out idea or maybe a wedge type camper

Why are you using the 2x12s laid flat on the outside like that?

Why not run 2x4 joists crossways then deck with plywood?

Lighter
Stronger
Rigid

This is the first camper-tent trailer iv ever built. I had most of this lumber laying around all ready also. It's gonna be very strong atleast. I have 12 6in long x 1/2in carriage bolts I'm gonna use to secure the frame to the trailer. And inside the 2x12s is 40 inches wide. That's how wide my walk space will be. I have to get a new circular saw blade tomorrow I tore my last blade up redoing the bathroom shower.

started getting the sides on. shes really starting to come togeather if i do say so myself. i started to experiment with the hinge system. think i might have it figured out. either 3 or 4 hinges per side. trying to decide if i want to to a leg style support for the sides when there open or have 3 or 4 boards that will swing out when the sides are open and give the 2x4s support.

at this point i think its as heavy or just a little heavier then the out board motor was. in only 150 lbs and my buddy is probably 200 or so we can lift it up pretty easy still.

Makin progress

Gotta make the supports still and add some more bracing I probally have 5 or so inches between bottom of the flap and the ground. Might have to get a taller tire.

I really like how you are using simple every day materials. I think the baby is gonna be big! Lots of room.

Don't think its to big do you? Its 2 ft tall walls 5 foot body by 10 foot an when opened it's 10x10 gonna pick out a nice 10x10 tent for the top of it
