NASCAR themed teardrops?

Postby Jimbo » Sun Oct 30, 2005 7:27 pm

After watching the race today, I wondered if anyone knew of any NASCAR themed TDs. After about 2 years of being into TDs, I've never seen one. I've thought about doing one for a racing site that I've been working on and taking to a couple of races next season.
Started many, finished none... Bought a TTT <Sigh> ;)

Yep.

The plan was to have the crossed checkered flags painted on the front and a track on the back but we ran out of time before we had to leave for Lowes so had to settle for the curtains and pillow cases this trip. The wife bought plenty of stickers (car numbers) for after the paint is on too.

Sure, if you don't mind being surrounded but a sea of RV's. lol We had no problem at all, we stayed in Rock City and they put us with the RV's instead of the tents which is where I thought we'd be. It was fun tho, non stop visitors for nearly the entire week. Kinda funny when you realize that everyone is asking to look at your little trailer and none of them show any intrest what-so-ever in the $500k units parked all around you.
This is definitely the way to go to the races tho, it gives you a way to get around while there that most of the RVers don't have. We rode around to all the garages while we were there and since we had the Explorer we took our neighbors with us, it really made their week to be able to get out and see everything like that. And you don't have to depend on their trams to get around, much less walking!

Sounds like fun. I am thinking about heading down for the Spring All Stars weekend and taking a tear with me.

I think mine would have to be changed every other year or so if I did that. Next year might be #22 but not sure yet.

Chip could do his purple/w #97 It'd be the Crown & PJ special.
