You could always build one of these in your back yard... and never have to pay camping fees again...

Been trying to talk the wife into just living in the small cabin Dad and I built on the property and building a couple of these for the kids and others to stay in when they come and visit.

She thinks everyone needs to stay in the same house and that 300 sq ft ain't big enought for the both of us.

Also was looking at these to. http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/

No taxes on these trailers. Build it. Get tag. Take it up there and remove tag. Tax man comes and tries to tax. Say ain't got no foundation. Move tiny house to new location on property.
There is always a way to beat the man.

That's nice but I'm not sure the Subaru will pull it (4700 lbs).

I've not gotten all the codes figured out on these things yet. Still working on them.

I don't think they are classified as Mobile Homes. They are not that wide or long. So they can't be taxed like a Mobile Home.

Lets say you had some property and built one of these and move it to that property then do you have to pay taxes on it? It doesn't have a foundation attached to the ground.

That would be great to take to a gathering but you would still need a tent.
