Postby robert » Wed Aug 25, 2004 5:10 pm

Design a slide in tear.
Must fit a 2000 s-10 bed 52" wide 72" long with tailgate up,17"deep ,7"from top of wheel well to top of bed. tailgate will be down.
Materials on hand .
2 sheets 3/4" plywood
1 sheet 1/4" plywood
1/2 sheet 1/2" plywood
1/2 sheet 5/8"plywood plus a lot of scrap plywood and 1x's
And only about $250.00 to spend.
So if you accept this mission an complete it you will have the thanks of our great nation of broke, poor and cheap campers.

That sounds like a job for Larry M. He's our camper expert... Check out some of his photos in this thread...

Or you could build something like this design from our inhouse expert... and I think he's a 2nd teardrop club member too... but I don't know, I'll have to ask him to be sure... Chip...? :D
