6.5x12 Cargo Trailer Build Journal

Hello! We just bought a cargo trailer and we're starting our build. I posted the below solar question in another thread, hoping it wasn't the wrong one. But! Because we're going to document our build anyway I thought I would share here.

Here I've drawn out a drafted not scaled diagram for our solar gettup in our new cargo trailer! I wasn't initially going to use an inverter but acquired one since so not sure *quite how to incorporate that. I have been doing a whole lot of studying and researching, and am just down to trying to sort out the wire sizes, but would love to hear all your thoughts! (especially if this is all wrong and is gonna blow up!)

Insulation is in!! It’s not fully done, but we’re stoked to finally be making some progress!

Finished insulation! Also painted our floor. Heres the underside, and the first coat of paint on the floor



We put the plywood in the v to give us support to build out some shelves/racks for a small closet. Paneling comes next!

Thank you and Yes!! Feel good is an understatement! That styrofoam is a real pain to deal with haha

The sun went down but we started to get some paneling up and primed. Rain the next couple of days, more updates soon!

Panelling is up and have a couple coats of paint!! Free cabinets too!

Then we hung some of those cabinets up, primed them to be ready to paint! Plopped in a bookcase, and a futon because we're dying to use it!

Purple fairy lights are temporary, but sure add some vibes!!





one of our neighbors walked by and said "wow! Y'all are cool, can I be your friend?? " really is a blast.
