Yes it was very solid, as it came from the dry climate of central Washington.
It broke my heart to cut the floors out of it, that still had much of the original black paint on them (even under the pedals) which is a far cry from the rusted hulks that restorers from the east are faced with.
But, it is making this project an easy one for me.
It was also very straight!!
I have an equally nice Oldsmobile 78 Series in the barn that is the twin to this body.
