No the box sitting right above the water tank. Is that a pull-out galley or just temporary bracing?

I also used short drill bits for accurately drilling the holes and because I am drilling into square tubing I used a ez burr tool from here http://www.ezburr.com/

It's actually a 5 wide but I get all my axles from ABC Trailer parts in Alabama.

Good Idea for a hatch seal. Where did you get the seal? I can't seem to find one like it.
Did you use smaller tubing for the hatch side bars?

Seal's come from McMaster Carr and i did the hatch in 3/4" square tubing.

Jim the one I ordered was 1120A211 14' length for 1/8" lip.

I already have a TV/DVD player for the inside. That flat screen has too many wires for it to be swivel.
