Oh I see lol. Yeah the hob will be the only thing that will require hook-up. I can't afford a 2.5kW inverter lol

Just so you don't think I've given up - have been prepping for paint but it's taking forever. Aluminium mouldings are on and sealed on the nearside.

Got a few days of sanding, stop kniving and priming ahead of me - no point in pictures

Yep. Masking it up today ready for priming. I hate this bit - luckily my dad is a dab hand at spraying cars....

I'm going to ask to please take some pics of the paint going on! I really like seeing the transformation. If you can't or if I'm too late in my request, I want you to know that I can only hope to do a job that somewhat resembles yours.

That is looking sweet.
I've got to ask though, are you a joiner by any chance?.
Or do you work for the people who make springy clamps?.
Can't wait for the paint.

Cheers guys,

I'll post more frequently over the next few days.

Still sanding, filling, priming... got some blue on the front and rear just to see how it would come out. Looks like car body work :D

I'm not a joiner. I'm a precision fitter (toolmaker) by trade but I recently got made redundant and now own a coffee shop. My dad is also helping in return for help on the motorhome he's refurbishing. He's an engineer also. This is my spare time project :-)
