Thanks Earl,

I've watched your progress and really like your galley, I like the dark stain, it makes it look more like furniture. Most people are more concerned on finishing the outside first to make it "camp-able" but you took a different approach.

My door panels are actually covered with horse leather, thin and strong, then my wife made the silhouette patterns and used shoe polish to color the panels. Mixed with the cedar siding it smells real nice in there.

The hinge is an aluminum hurricane hinge with no off-sets, it lays perfectly flat and I was able to put it under the skin for a clean look. I didn't want any trim that needed the plastic inserts. I like the more traditional look.

That is one fine build, thanks for sharing it with us. I really like the look of the no offset hatch hinge.

I thought "Bear with ME" was going to be the tragic tale of a bear with chronic fatigue syndrome (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis)....

Nice work - the flush hinge is interesting - what hinge did you use under the ali skin?

Thanks guys for those compliments.

As for the hinge it came from http://teardropparts.com/sub-pages/tear ... ldings.htm It's just a flat hinge, no offset, no slots for plastic inserts. It's all under the skin. Maybe this picture will help.
