Thanks for the lovely comments .. We're really happy with how it's turning out ...And not too far off the finishing post now :thumbsup:

Tony I built my first trolley top with a full copper top in 2009... It wasn't until I'd almost finished that someone mentioned the reaction between the two metals ... There is a bonding layer separating them ...but I was mindful that when it rains the water will be a conductor and cover both metals ...For whatever reason there has been no detrimental effect from using the two dissimilar metals ....The first trolley top still belongs to my daughter and lives outside all year. This is it at one of the shows we attended this year...

That is unreal!!! Way out there in another class by itself. Just fabulous. :applause: :applause: :applause:

I like the arm rests with key catcher trays, and the burned wood compass rose came out very nicely, too, but the library wall paper takes the cake.

...Exactly what I was thinking. Are those key catcher trays originally butter holders? ...Clever and Beautiful! :thumbsup: :applause:
