Rusty drop, I made a template first. Actually, 3 templates, 1st two did not work. I live on the other end of the 78, you are welcome to stop by.

Aunti M

Thanks for to compliment. Trying to get motivated to go that last 10%.
I need to finish some of the interior trim, drawers and cabinet under the hatch. Once done with the interior, I promise to post more :pictures:

Looking great Wolfgang! Don't see too many with built in space for a 426. That's awesome

Shawn,

Yea found the 426 stuffed in a garage closet at my Mom's. Used it when we went camping as a teenager. It was used only about 5 times. Been sitting there waiting for someone to use it for 30+ years.
Still have to get gas and see if it works. Seals were dry, put some oil on it and was able to pressurize the tank. If I can't get it to work I know I can get all the help I need from the forum.

426

I have one of those coleman white gas stoves in a storage area at home. My dad used it all the time, camping and in the garage for projects. I should pull it out and give it a try sometime, it was dependable as can be for many years.

YOU HAVE DONE IT!
and such a sharp job too. Really nice.
I love the look of the woody sides contrasted with the practicality of the aluminum skinned top. The best of both worlds there. And the trim looks so good, and the two portlights look MUCH better than I could have imagined. You should be proud! And you can be sure that some of us will be following your build thread like a manual hoping ours come out looking half as good!

My 2+2 project is on hold and while I am working on a home addition. So your progress is feeding my dreams right now.
I was hoping you could "help a brother out". How about a nice round of pictures, inside and out. You know, I bet most of us could look at many pictures of the same tear (especially one as classy as yours) without getting the least bit bored.
Wolfgang's tear in the driveway at 6 am (gorgeous). Wolfgang's tear in the driveway at high noon (look at that finish). Wolfgang's tear in the driveway at dusk (oh, look how sunset reflects). You know what I mean. Tell me you haven't made that trip out to the garage many times at different stages, just to get one more look. And rightfully so.
We want to see every angle, every detail. Don't hold out on us! We can take it!

Aunti M, he just a lurker.......... keeping tabs on me 8)

Steve. I'll trade you more pictures of the trailer for picture of you drive way.
Actually have not done so much lately. Had a bad Santa Anna this weekend, lots going on at work and I travel again for work next week. If the mold trial don't go well I just might stop by.

Check out this link for what I did last weekend.

By the way, newbee's should introduce themselves.
But since I know you well enough, I'll do it for you.

See, Steve is my younger brother living in the Detroit area. I'm not sure if you enjoy camping a lot, or if 20+ years in the Army soured you on it.
