smoothed out the fiberglass seam and had to fill a bit more
, I want it looking like nothing happened- mirror. That takes a bit of elbow grease. Found a textured plastic sheet- black, and cut it to make a switch plate, radio mount, and back splash power outlet and switch. Also started on the counter for the galley.. Looks like it will work.121170121167121171121166

121168 all of the trailer circuits are pulled to the terminal strip next to where the battery will sit. You can see the water tank mount and right below it is the cargo area 20 " wide by the width of the trailer, waiting on the cargo hatch.

Kitchenette is almost complete, working on back door/stove holder and storage.121360 Piano hinge salvaged from a control panel, angle iron 24.00. Laying out the locking and alinement devices. Cargo door arrived, going to cut it in before I finish the cabinets.121359121362Looks like I am going to need to install a cross brace or a tensioner to keep the rear end square with the added weight of the back door storage unit. the Rear of the trailer deviates 1/4 of an inch when the door is full open without any weight on it. A device like what is used on gates to keep them square. Some kind of turnbuckle that can be adjusted to bring the trailer back to square.

Located a remote control board on ebay, sounds a bit much to put into a trailer, but, i think it would be cool. It has a 100 ft min range and 4 functions easily adapted to the circuitry. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-12V-4-Chan ... 232cd56219 It could be set up to turn on lights, sound an alarm, turn on the furnace, turn on the radio- tax the imagination.

The twisting was easily solved for 5.00 a turn buckle a couple of corner braces, and a few swear words and the shell is rock solid

This evening will be spent sewing up some nice 2 sided curtains for the inside. The theme will be grey and black for the interior. So I will make the outside of the curtain black to hide what is going on inside and grey on the inside to accent the walls. Made up a mount for the radio and power plugs out of my plastic sheet find, looks good.
It is raining cats and dogs so I will spend some time in the shop finishing the drawer fronts and the cabinet doors. Almost ready to permanently mount the FRP to the trailer- gonna need an extra hand due to the glue and the fitment, sometimes you just have to admit you need help.

I don't get many comments, is it because I have not made a traditional teardrop or is it that no one has any input or warnings to share? I can't believe I am doing everything right. He he

I've never built one so have little to comment on. I just enjoy popping in and watching the progress

That happens sometimes when you work fast and show stuff that is already "done".

On the other hand, sometimes it is just whatever mood people are in. I tend to post long detailed accounts with lots of pic's, explaining everything I do and why. Sometimes I get lots of nice comments and suggestions, other times I think I've hit a milestone (like yesterday's post) and nothing. :?

Whew, I am glad that I got a couple of comments, I hate to feel alone in a project.

I am open to suggestions if you see something I have missed. I just realized I had no license plate light or mount position, have to take a fascia off and pull some wires.

Trust me. On this forum you are never alone.

Seems to me you are zipping along. Too bad you are in Michigan. I just recently gave away a queen bed set in gray and dark red plaid.

 We're here, watching. You may have only had 42 comments, including your own, but you've had over a thousand views.
Since your build and plans are different from most, it's hard to know what to say about it all. Your work looks good so far.
