This build is absolutely amazing!! Your color, style and layout really tugs at my heart strings. Nostalgia is jumping off my screen! May I ask where you purchased the aluminum material that you used to edge out your counter tops? This is exactly what I am looking for on my design.
Love the speckle, and all the rest too! It is so cold here, -6 last nite, high of 18 but not until 2 pm, i am so glad we are not building this year. More power to ya doug, looking fabulous.
I picked up the aluminum trim from a local aluminum suppler here in Sacramento. It's 1/8" by 3/4". Lots of suppliers have it, but sometimes they are out of it...I buy up several sticks of it when they have it, just to make sure I'm covered. Doug

Steve E came by today and we put up the walls and tied them together with some temporary braces. Thanks Steve! I'm not sure what I did, but they both fit fine. Now I can build more structure into them for bracing for the rest of the interior stuff. Spent the rest of the day working on the windows. They all need to be restored, which is a challenge as most of the vinyl trim materials aren't available anywhere...I've looked all over the place and spent many hours trying to find the correct profiles for the trim pieces. Some are available...just not the final visible trim. I'm gonna fake it. Also set in the galley back splash to see how that's gonna look. Above the galley will be 2 small cabinets on each side with a 2 pane jalouse window in between. Doug
