Any chance you can make half Jelly Bellys for the fenders. 8) I know, I am a trouble maker. :R

Auntie M let me see, a full size jelly belly is less than an inch long, making the tyres one quarter inch diameter. Lets just say half size jelly belly beans are out.

 8) I see your sense of humor is in tact. I mean the
Image but truthfully if they could image the TD it would look nice. Just make a couple of smaller ones. Top only!

Still trying to figure out a profile for fenders, and more importantly how to build said profile? Any suggestions? I think I have figured out a way to mount them, hard to explain though.

I am thinking I am going about this backwards. First I need to get tyres and wheels, then axle, and then figure out a fender to go around them. For tyres and wheels something tall and skinny, old car feeling. A wheel people look at and can not quite place (you may call it oddball). Please respond with ideas.

I don't know what they are called, but along the lines of the jelly bean shape, what about something like the aerodynamic wheel covers that go over the wheels and tires of fixed gear aircraft? I think there are some fiberglass models.

The using of wheel pants was discussed last year, they are much smaller than I need, except for some planes built in the thirties. Cutting up vintage aircraft parts is not what I want to do, but if I could make a mold of a couple of them? Anybody got a pair I can borrow, I promise not to hurt them?

Auntie M I think the first two things to do are fenders and 110AC. As far as paintable spray stuff I believe it is, but you have to wait a period of time before you paint, a week I believe. I believe I still have a can of it around  maybe a trial run is in order.

A modification I made while in Florida this winter, sorry it took so long to post.

I added a propane tank to the tongue that should not have to be replaced every day like the small cans.
ImageThanks Auntie M your fix is still there. I will have to shift the tank forward an inch, later.
Image
To make the loops my dad wrapped the tubing around a small propane tank three times. No there is no regulator on the connection, seams my heater will not work with one hooked up, must have a built in regulator for use with the little 1 pound tanks.
The connection at the heater.
Image
And I left provisions for connecting my cook stove to hook over later.

Started working on the jelly belly again. I like summer with the sun going down about nine now. Need to get 110 AC wired in.
Image
My dad sugested I put (hide) the plug above the tag. Tonight I drilled the hole and routered a channeled out a place for the wire to hide. Before I can install the wire and plug, the spar varnish needs to dry.
