Sounds like an episode of 'Pimp My Spats' - though I think that has to be 'Pimp My Pants' in US English.

Should I take that as a no vote? With Alan's vote it would be 0 - 2.

On todays edition of pimp my spats, fiberglass your mistakes away.

My design would have given a place to hold water, so I made a piece of wood fit and fiberglassed over.

Today I fiberglassed the out side of the one spat I have built.

I then built the frame work for the other side.

Folks I built this trailer for fun, but it gets noticed, I can not explain it. Friday at the mt Baker trailer rally (tin can tourists) Doug Keister asked to take pics of little old me's trailer.

It got "towed" behind a real mini.

Today I started to put fiberglass resin on the inside. When time for pics came it was too dark (the pics turned out blurry). Now I have a question can I cover the inside of these covers with black goo, or does the goo have to be applied to bare wood? In other words will the goo stick to fiberglass resin?

1. I have a half a gallon of goo. 2. A white 1989 dakota convertible, which I was supposed to fix this summer.

Well I have started insulating with a can of "great stuff". It went on simple enough, we will see when I get passed vertical.
Image
When I go out and buy some more should I get more of the "great stuff" or switch to the latex variety?

Well I went to a couple of big box stores, and could not find the latex expanding foam I used to get. They had plenty of toxic stuff that was twice as expensive :x Bought two cans and used one for todays progress.

This is going to be a long process.

Looks Good Del. You could paint it blue in there, then the foam will look like clouds.... until it turns orange.

Then it will be psychedelic! :D

You got a lot of projects going on.. How do you keep up with it all??

I do not keep up, but it keeps me out of, well mostly out of trouble.

The plan is to paint the inside white, to lighten it up.
