I had to cut a filler strip for the odd area in front of the wood subfloor and the floor deck. I've been having visions of baaaaad things happening to this spot if left as a hollow cavity.

Doors are coming really soon. I've received my order of trim bits, door handles and windows from Grant.

The Princess Helper supervises roof insulation. I had to install a false spar just above/infront of the door where the skin for the roof will meet.

I chose the type of foam for it's flexibility, but man what a mess. Fortunately most of it was in the driveway.

"I've been signed!" The Princess Helper has added her own personalized build plate to Rose.

I am really enjoying watching the pile of wood in the garage shrink.

I've starting prepping for the hatch build. Doors are ready to be worked on. I want to make sure I have a nice flat location to assemble the door sandwich on.

Piece of cake. The first summer I came to Texas, I finally asked when it was gonna get hot. It had only gotten to 105 so far that year. I had lived inland in SoCal for 2 years before, where 120 was common.

Last night. Up, up, and over the top.

This afternoon. Rear part of roof is done. Holy cow, only hatch, galley and doors left.

BTW, I'm gonna go pass out from heat stroke now.

After the worst of the afternoon heat, we did a bit more today.

Window cuts. BTW, the pvc pipe with the mail labels, is my package of Al trim from Grant.

Hey, I bet this thing goes here.

They're losing weight, maybe 5 lbs apiece now.

The Princess Helper has started to move in.
