Looks good though, just make the spiders rebuild or move on.

Yes, the scruffy faced tank driver was there.

It came through the incomplete seals of Door #2. I came this ---><--- close to not bringing it this weekend.

Wow, Well, at least it is something you saw right away so everything can be properly dried out and hopefully no harm will be done,

It appears we caught it before any lasting damage occurred. We'll see. I have a fan going in the cabin now to help dry things up.

I bet it will. Most all of my warping settled down, and you can't see any now unless you know where to look and even then you have to look at an angle. Best of luck for you too! Glad we got to chat for a second Sunday morning!

:( Glad you caught it fast. Mine did that and I sealed the inside edges so water doesn't get in there and mess things up where you can't see. Put lots of epoxy to build a dam... clear caulk will work.

Its been a couple of moons since I posted any Rose updates. At 10 years old, she's doing quite well. In the meantime, she's had a number of upgrades and even an axle flip.

I've changed, and added tow vehicles. I'm also eager to charge the battery while getting on down the road. So...

My newest TV came equipped with both 4 and 7 pin connectors. It was so nice of Mr. Ford to mark the pinout.
153383

Out with the old.
153384

And the rats nest
153386

Oh yeah, I also added a cargo box rack on the tongue to tote wheel chocks and other bits.
153385

Amazingly little dirt and crud under her after 10 years.
153387

A pink foam marker board.

Power central with the battery removed. The cleats on the sides hold the shelf (removed) for the microwave.
153394

I drilled the first ever whole through the floor for the 10Ga speaker wire used for charging power. That's a 30A circuit breaker inline on the hot.
153391

Getting buttoned up again.
153393

Its good to have friends in data centers. This battery was part of a string removed from service after 18 months. Rose has had it in place for 9 years.

It may or may not be obvious here. The first pic is 2015 with the original axle height and fender mounting. The second pic is 2017 after I flipped the axle to above the leaf spring. The frame dropped 4 inches even. The fenders were moved up a corresponding amount.

I've felt Rose's tongue looked kinda bare for a long time. I've also got also these bits of block, jacks, chocks, etc, etc to deal with. How about some storage for the bulky but light treasures.

Nekkid
153455

The donor box. About $25 at Academy.
153456

Bits of bed frame cut to size. In case you didn't know, bed frames are easy to find for free, and very good steel.
153457

Don't look too hard. I haven't picked up an oxy/acetylene torch in a few decades.
153458

Test fit. At the same time, I added a 3" PVC tube with threaded caps to hold antenna parts for my ham radios.
153459

Say, aaahhhhh
153468

Hmmm. Plan B calls for the box to be held down by bungee cords to avoid this conflict.

Glad to see the the CR is still doing well for you. :applause:  :applause:
I like the additions and changes.

Your build - I believe you were living in Allen at the time - was one of the inspirations for me to start my build.

I can't find the progress pics for this. Something about changing phones and computers multiple times in 12 months.

A cabinet I built using the face frames from damages over fridge cabinets. I pitched the back boxes and built my own.
153499

The cabinet was offset to allow for entertainment.
