No Mike Thats another build - I just need to keep this one for a few more months - I have a few trips before I build the Winter warrrior - (In the summer -Still gathering parts and stuff)

Sure , I'm trying to render it in Sketchup7- Mike do you remember what thread that desgn is in? I remember seeing it without the back hatch

OK folks almost done with the raised roof - added some trim detail and getting reading to complete ceiling - but you'll have to wait for the picture till I'm done - sorry, no peeking yet ;)

Basically, it’s a hip style roof with ONE 4 X 8 sheet of plywood for the top. The back panel is flush and rises 13 inches. The back piece is cut so that the top finishes at 48 inches wide and the bottom at 74 inches. This gives you your angles. The side pieces are 18 1/2 inches wide and tilt towards and join the roof (right now I can’t remember the front piece dimensions) but it too matches the angle on the front and is cut so the sides also angle in. The modification used about the same amount of materials as the original roof, but now I have extra height. Why 13 inches? So I can get it out of my garage! Shouldn’t affect towing very much – not much frontal area added.

added an attic.....great modification..... if you were really good, you would have started with a basement..... :lol:

but I like it, nice work! Not much additional weight, for considerably more usable space. Your head and back will love you for it. :applause: :applause:

Yep - it's a standie for them 5'0" inside height. Mrs Starleen is 4'11" ;)
