What did you use to get the nice radius?

That looks really good. Have you estimated what the weight will end up? How do you plan to skin the walls?

Nice radius in the steel for the nose.

This is the large radius bender I use.

Weight should be 600# to 800#. Planning to use 2024-t3 aluminum with lauan ply between the steel and aluminum.

Here is some pics of the trailer and the water channel I made. My current teardrop I router a 1/4 inch groove so the water runs down to the ground instead of the galley. works great. This trailer being out of steel I used this edge molding and will work even better as I have a positive seal on the hatch when closed. I did this so to have a clean line in the profile.

NOW I get it! The steel frame will better withstand the stress of takeoff and the impact of landing while being towed by the airplane!
I thought you might miss out on seeing the countryside doing it that way but heck...you'll see ALL the countryside!
Way back I asked a general question about whether anyone had ever studied the aerodynamic lift of a teardrop going down the road, since it's shaped like a wing. I guess you've done an end run around the mathematicians and just gone and proved it. I like how the last picture shows the "flap" in the up position. :applause:

Slow going but started working on it again.
Here is the TV mounted facing out the galley this time.

Here I am drilling the #20 holes for riveting.

Here are the 5/32 rivets installed, still need to shave them down.

OK. I'm impressed. Only a pro would know to use #20 for 5/32 rivets and have clecos on hand.

That last picture looks like it should be an ad in a magazine. Nice work so far!
