Correct Al.
I fitted three ball raced door hinges and glued a strip of 2" rubber over them.
The hinges were spare from another job.
I was too tight to pay £50 for a galley hinge.

I just need to weld in a 2" strip into the middle of the new mudgaurds(easy when i can subcontract that job out to my mate who has all my welding gear)

You could have used the hinge from a large caravan window like i did on the Scavenger, it is very similar to hurricane hinge, I was lucky with mine I got it for free as i did with the one for build 2.
If you are comming to the Stiff upper lip gathering we will have to compare notes on being tight, (thats if you are not to tight to tell) lol

Are you on www.retrorides.proboards.com ??

I am not sure I have ever seen you there, but the guys will go mad for the Moggy, and the trailer will get great reviews in the "Other modifications " section.

By the way, the combo looks great.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.

Hi grizz, yes i'm on retro rides,i'm the thread killer. It's a great site but there is a hell of a lot of good stuff to get through.

Nice to see you getting on with yours...You think things are going slow until you put a big piece on.
